Curtain Call and Curtain Road
Curtain Road’s rich creative legacy began in 1576 when it became home to one of Britain’s earliest and most significant theatres. Fast forward to the iconic Plastic People - a venue that played a crucial role in the development of dubstep with its unmatched sound system. For two decades, it hosted legendary residents like Theo Parrish, Carl Craig, Four Tet, and Floating Points, solidifying Curtain Road as the epicentre of London nightlife.
Now, Curtain Call, Shoreditch’s brand-new gallery, emerges as a beacon of creativity and culture. Drawing on years of vibrant artistry synonymous with Curtain Road and Shoreditch, this venue offers an accessible space for art, culture, and entertainment. With diverse and eclectic programming, it celebrates Shoreditch’s limitless innovation and creativity.
